DESCRIPTION:Please send us an enquiry if you cannot see a course date here that interests you.  \n\nIntroduction:\nCombined (LF) Forklift & (LO) Order Picking Forklift Course \nThis combined course specifies the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck (LF) and an order picking forklift truck (LO) safely in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements. Competence in these two units\, does not in itself result in HRWL licences to operate this plant.\n\nForklift truck means a powered industrial truck equipped with lifting media made up of a mast and an elevating load carriage to which is attached a pair of fork arms or other attachments that can be raised 900 mm or more above the ground but does not include a pedestrian-operated truck or a pallet truck.\n\nA person performing this work is required to hold a forklift truck High Risk Work Licence (HRWL).\nThis unit requires a person operating a forklift truck to:\n\nplan for the work/task\nprepare for the work/task\nperform work/task\npack up\n\nOrder picking forklift truck means an order picking forklift truck where the controls are incorporated with the lifiting media and elevate with the lifting media.\n\nA person performing this work is required to hold an order picking forklift truck High Risk Work Licence (HRWL).\n\nThis unit requires a person operating an order picking forklift truck to:\n\nplan for the work/task\nprepare for the work/task\nperform work/task\npack up \n\n\nTarget Audience:\nFor those learners wishing to obtain their High-Risk Work Licences (LF) Licence to operate a forklift truck and (LO) Licence to operate an order picking forklift truck. This combo course is to suit beginners with very little exposure to forklifts trucks and order picking forklift trucks.  Also\, for those learners that take a little more time to learn. \n\n\n\nLearning Outcomes:\nStatement of Attainment for TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truckStatement of Attainment for TLILIC0004 Licence to operate an order picking forklift truckCan apply for High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) for (LF) Forklift and (LO) Order picking forklift truckLearners are required to apply for both a forklift truck (LF) licence and an order picking forklift truck (LO) licence with SafeWork NSW. Visit SafeWork NSW for more information. \n\n\nLearning Methods:\nThis course is offered face to face as a standard course delivered over 5 days. This consists of 3 days of formal training and 2 days for assessments.\n\nAll learners must complete mandatory pre-course self-paced online learning component\, including practice activity prior to attending face-to-face training.
